Looking for a Amuse alternative for your label?

Amuse suits artists starting out who want a low yearly fee and an app to release from. A label running a roster usually needs more around the upload: statements for each artist, splits, payouts and someone to talk to. Here is how the two compare, and when staying put is the better call.

How Amuse charges

Yearly plans for one to three artists on the published tiers, with no share of store royalties on them; some income types carry a share on some plans.

  • Artist: $23.99 a year, 1 artist
  • Artist Plus: $39.99 a year, 2 artists
  • Artist Pro: $59.99 a year, 3 artists
  • No share of store royalties
  • Artist Pro for bigger rosters exists; the pricing page shows the price for 3 artists only.

What a label gets with Stillmore Group

  • Statements your artists can read

Each artist signs in to their own account and sees their releases, earnings by store and country, and what was paid.

  • Splits per track

Set a split per recording for producers, featured artists and your own share, and statements follow it.

  • Sub-labels and artist accounts

Run imprints side by side on the larger plans, each with its own roster, and choose what every artist sees.

  • A person checks every release

Metadata, artwork and audio are reviewed before delivery, so the stores don't send them back.

  • Wallet, payouts and advances

Royalties land in a wallet you control; pay artists out, grant advances and track recoupment in one place.

  • Your own brand, if you want it

Our white label plans put the whole platform under your name, logo and domain.

Stay with Amuse if

  • You release for yourself and like doing it from your phone.
  • You want the lowest yearly fee for one artist.

Move to Stillmore Group if

  • You run a roster and want each artist to have their own statements and account.
  • You want a person to check every release before the stores see it.
  • You want splits, advances and payouts for the whole label in one place, or distribution under your own brand.

Questions

Is Stillmore Group cheaper than Amuse?
Not for every roster. Amuse: yearly plans for one to three artists on the published tiers, with no share of store royalties on them; some income types carry a share on some plans. Our label plans combine a fee with a share of royalties and include the label workspace. Put your own numbers into the distribution cost comparison to see a year side by side.
Can I move my releases from Amuse without losing streams?
Yes, when they keep their UPC and ISRCs. Our transfer tool imports them exactly as the stores show them, puts them live with us first, and only then prepares the takedown request for Amuse, so there is no gap and no duplicate.
When should I stay with Amuse?
You release for yourself and like doing it from your phone. You want the lowest yearly fee for one artist. In those cases the move may not be worth it.
